CAD Is Pleased to Be Involved in the Following Events
Wednesday, September 23 – International Day of Sign Languages
Daytime Flag Raising Ceremony
🕛 12:00–1:00 PM
📍 City of Calgary Municipal Plaza
800 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, AB
CAD will host the official Deaf Flag Raising Ceremony in collaboration with Deaf & Hear Alberta (DHA) and Connect Society. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided.
Wednesday, September 23 – Evening Tower Lighting
🕖 7:15 PM until dusk
📍 101 9 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB
Connect Society will host the Evening Tower Lighting in collaboration with CAD. The Calgary Tower will be lit in blue as part of the global Blue Light Campaign, honouring the International Day of Sign Languages.
